How do I start a Group and can I make it private?

There are many groups of people who just love their sport and activities and want to share that experience - snow boarders/sailors/skiers/climbers/hikers - all over the world get together wit the common love of sport and action. You might want to form a new group of fans/spectators/photographers and writers. Just give your group a name and a description of what you are doing and what brings you together. For example you may want to start a group for a charity event like a Swimathon/bike ride or an Everest climb.

And you can decide whether you want the Group pics and comments to stay within your Group or whether you want to share with the outside world.
