| Description: | Sometimes an airfield and aircraft can seem out of place in the raw nature and poverty of the Himalaya. But actually they are in integral part of the internal transport network. This was at Jomsom where our trip ended. From here we flew to Pokara, Nepal's second city, then went by bus to Chitwan National Park for a "relaxing" safari. |
