| Description: | You don't have to be totally alone to get great solitary wilderness experiences. I found that having my black labrador "Kelly" with me was the best of both worlds. She never complained, loved every minute of every trip and was even great at finding the route when the weather turned extra nasty. Mind you, she never carried her own food or helped with the tent! |

| Comments: | Yep, the legendary Kelly Dog. She did all the 3000' mountains in England and Wales, and 117 of the Scottish Munros before her arthritic legs got the better of her. Damn fine animal she was, totally barmy too in the nicest possible way! Comment by johnloguk on 10th September 2007 Yeah - but don't they say that dogs gradually start to become like their owners - or is it the other way round? Comment by Ace on 10th September 2007 Woof!
