Great Pix Shelley, I am so jealous, It's too long since I've been to the Himalaya! Are you planning to go back again? I know when I first went and did the Everest Base Camp trek I thought that would get it out of my system, but it had the opposite effect. I just had to climb something big and it was a bit of a race to get a summit before I ran out of money! My ambition now is to stay fit enough to be able to take my kids, but they are only 4 so another 10 years at least I reckon.

No I think that by doing it once you wanna go and do it again. I;'d like to go back and do th Annapurna circuit as well. Definately a must for takig your kids thou. We met a Canadian kid out there and she was only 8 and she loved it. She trekked all the way in from Jiri. A brilliant experience!!

the Annapurna Circuit is very busy, as popular as the Everest trek, but spectacular, very varied. Are you tempted to try and climb something? Some of the trekking peaks are straight forward in good conditions with a good group. I guess hygiene is important with young children
