| Description: | Gokyo Peak is about 18,000 feet high and is a popular side trip en route to Everest Base Camp. The climb is just a steady walk, but for most it is by far the highest they have ever been at this point so a steady pace is essential. The views from the top, including Everest to the east, are simply stunning and well worth the effort |
