| Comments: | The funny thing was that we were so elated at reaching such a spectacular spot, we were full of energy and were all running round taking loads of photos, when really we should have been saving ourselves for the summit the following day. I was the mug who climbed up there to take the photo looking down on camp. On a technical note the camera was a Minolta X300 SLR and I was using kodachrome 64 slides (pre-digital). When I scanned the slide into photoshop it kept wanting to correct the blue bias that you get at high altitude. But I prefer it like that so I ignored photoshop on this occasion! This is as you say just absolute magic. If you size the pic to the largest size it will go - it just looks heavenly. Again you have to wonder about the guy who was sent up there to take the shot - where are the footprints! But it was just worth all the effort. Also have to wonder what camera etc you are using cos the results look just perfect.
